About twenty architects work at estudio Herreros, the successor firm to Herreros Arquitectos, which grew out of Ábalos&Herreros, established by Iñaki Ábalos and Juan Herreros in 1985. In the "Past" clip Herreros recounts the people who had a strong influence on him, such as Alejandro de la Sota, Cedric Price, and Mark Wigley. Herreros describes the "Present" of his post-crisis firm as a small, collaborative practice with pragmatic, obsessively simple projects. Herreros's "Future" consists of projects that under construction, most notably the Munch Museum in Oslo, which should bring the firm some attention when it opens next year.
