At one point in the 25-minute documentary we see inside the Pakistan State Oil House that Lari designed in the mid 1970s. Its reflective glass walls and soaring atrium, which give the impression the building could be anywhere, not just Karachi, are a sharp departure from the work she carries out with the Heritage Foundation of Pakistan. Lari even says she "[feels] a bit strange coming here... seeing all this..." Throughout the rest of the documentary, Lari visits the towns damaged by floods and earthquakes. Through traditional methods she promotes the construction of houses that will resist further acts of nature.
