Single house Hronov
From the beginning, the architectural studio Chmelař Architekti has been mainly specializing in residential housing. The studio is also strongly involved in the cultivation of the urban environment in the historical context, especially in the area of Northeast Bohemia. Besides the reconstruction of the Church Square in the town Broumov, the studio has also revitalised the historic centre of the town Hronov. David Chmelař also actively participates in the change of the town's face as a member of the Building Committee, which he led from 2006 to 2018. Among one of the most important clients of the studio is Crestyl, where David Chmelař works as a Design Supervisor since 2009. He also held the same position at Spirit Invest from 2006 to 2012. Among a few of the most known realizations of residential apartment buildings are eg. 4BLOK estate in Vršovice, Dock in Libeň, Neugraf on Anděl, Šárecký dvůr in Vokovice and two apartment buildings in Police nad Metují. A separate chapter of the studio consists of private residences for demanding clients, such as the Villa house Condor in the Caribbean, Penthouse Pařížská, reconstruction of villa houses on Hanspulka and Strahov. The Šárecký dvůr project was announced by the HOF AWARDS 2019 jury as the best residential building in Central Europe. Dock A estate was the 1st in the CIJ Awards 2012. David Chmelař also takes pride on the 2001 Olověný Dušan Award for Best year work at the Faculty of Architecture on the Czech Technical University.
